Hope Youth Ministry

This Sunday, October 16 from 6-8 PM will be Inner Mission at the Pender’s house.

If (and I mean if) a Rangers game 7 is necessary, we will have our lesson and discussion time from 6-7 PM, and then eat and begin watching the game at 7 PM. Otherwise, if the Rangers wrap this up before that, we’ll follow our normal schedule of eating first.

Also, Sunday school at 9 AM Sunday.

Just a reminder that Confirmation and High School youth are cancelled for tomorrow, Wednesday, October 5. We’ll see you next week.

Also, remember that there is a Youth Ministry Vision Raising this Sunday, October 9 at 9AM.

The first Inner Mission of the year will be held a the Hawkins’ house this Sunday, September 18 from 6-8 PM.

If you’ve never been to Inner Mission before, we try to meet twice a month in homes of Hope members. It is open to High School students. We meet for a meal, Bible Study, and small group discussion.

If you need directions to the Hawkins’ house, reply to this email and I will send it to you.

Confirmation kicks off tomorrow, Wednesday, September 14! We will have pizza here at around 5:45, and Confirmation will run from 6:15-7:15 PM. We will have an overnight retreat on Friday, September 23 through Saturday, September 24. Details are forthcoming.

The high school will continue meeting from 5:30-6:30 PM.

The school year has begun and the high school will begin meeting tonight! (Wednesday, September 7) We’ll see you from 5:30-6:30 (or later), pizza will be served.

Confirmation starts next week, September 14 at 6:30 PM.

Just to be clear, Wednesday activities will not start up quite yet. The schedule will look something like this:

• September 7
• 6:00 PM – Pizza
• 6:30 PM – Chimes Choir
• 7:30 PM(?) – High School
• No confirmation on September 7
• September 14
• Confirmation Begins. Exact time TBA, but expect sometime around 6:15-6:30 for a start time.

We still have Sunday school on Sunday mornings at 9 AM.

Devo is canceled for tomorrow night, Wednesday, August 17 due to some scheduling conflicts. See everybody on Sunday for Sunday school.

This week:

• Wednesday, August 10, 6-8:30 PM – Devo Night at the church. Bring your favorite board game or card game to the church and beat the heat.
• Sunday, August 14, 9 AM – Sunday school for middle & high school.

Sorry for the correction, but I had the time wrong for Youth Praise Team practice Sunday morning. Steve needs everyone to be there Sunday morning at 8:30 AM. This is the only practice, so please be on time.

This Sunday the Youth Praise Team will lead worship. Steve has picked songs you all have already learned, so the practice will be at 9am on Sunday, July 31. No Saturday Practice.

Also, if you have not sent Matt what you would like to share on Sunday from our mission trip, please do so by the end of the day today, Thursday!
